The Reco Handling Heavy Duty Plastic Pallet is designed for businesses requiring a strong, hygienic and reusable pallet for handling raw materials and finished goods.

With standard UK pallet dimensions of 1200 x 1000mm, the pallet combines high load capacities with a robust polypropylene construction, making it particularly well suited to demanding warehouse, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain environments.

Hygienic, Non-Porous Construction

Manufactured from virgin polypropylene (PP), the pallet has a non-porous surface that does not absorb moisture or odours. It is water resistant and can be washed or steam cleaned, making it particularly useful where cleanliness and hygiene are important operational considerations.

Its smooth construction helps minimise areas where moisture, dust and liquids can accumulate. Unlike timber pallets, the plastic construction will not rust or rot and contains no nails or splinters.

Anti-Slip Top Deck

The pallet incorporates an anti-slip surface and raised lips around all four edges of the top deck. These features help reduce load movement during handling, including in wet conditions.

The top deck is designed to maximise usable pallet space, providing a practical platform for transporting and storing a wide variety of materials and packaged goods.

Heavy-Duty Load Capacity

Designed for demanding material handling operations, the pallet offers a maximum static load capacity of 5,000kg and a maximum dynamic load capacity of 1,750kg at 23°C.

For suitable racking applications, the specified maximum racking capacity is 1,450kg. Load performance is affected by temperature, so operating conditions should always be considered when determining suitability for a particular application.

Four-Way Entry for Efficient Handling

Four-way entry allows the pallet to be approached from multiple directions using compatible standard material handling equipment. Its dimensional consistency can also make it suitable for automated production, packaging and warehousing systems, although testing is recommended before use with individual automated or gravity handling installations.
